From the President

September/October 2008

The first meeting for Unit 91 for 2008-2009 will be held on Wednesday, September 10th starting with a potluck at 6:00 p.m., followed by the business meeting at 7:00 p.m.  Our meetings are always held on the second Wednesday of each month, September through June.  We do not meet in July and August.  The Girl's State recipients will be at our meeting in September to talk about their week long experiences at Bethel College.

You should be receiving a notice from National asking you to pay your dues.  You do not need to wait to get the notice to pay.  Dues are still only $18.00 and can be sent to our Membership Chairperson, Karen Sellers, 1505 7th St. N.W., Austin, MN 55912, or give your check to a bartender at the club.  If you know of any prospective new members, please encourage them to join.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered helping with the bingo at the fair this year.  It was greatly appreciated.

Annette Quinlan
Auxiliary President
